I absolutely love Dungeons and Dragons! It’s so much fun to play and to watch people play. A couple of years ago I came across Critical Role (I started watching campaign 2 first), as with any streaming game, it has it good points and bad points but overall I really enjoy watching it. I have now also watched the first campaign and find it much funnier (Especially Scanlan).
But whilst watching the second campaign I decided it would be fun to make some of the characters, starting with my favourite- Nott the Brave! I hadn’t made a doll before so it took a bit of time to get the body shape right (I started with trying to amend some teddy patterns I had already made, but it was alot of trial and error) and then it was a case of looking at clothes for it. I didn’t want loads of details on the dolls but still wanted to easily be able to see who the character was. I looked through alot of peoples clothing patterns on Ravelry.com and then adjusted to make them fit the size of the doll.
I absolutely love the end result! I have made 3 other Critical Role Campaign 2 characters but this is still my favourite one. I don’t have a pattern written up for this doll at the moment (notes written in notepads still) But the finished doll is available to purchase here.
