Baby Groot

I saw this super cute baby Groot pattern on Ravelry.com and just had to make it! The pattern was created by Clare Heesh and is available for FREE here.

The pattern was fairly simple to follow and quite quick to work up. The ‘twigs/hair’ on the top was a little fiddly to do as were the little leaves on his arms. But the end item is super super cute. Groot didn’t stand up too well on his own (this may or may not have been a fault of mine when following the pattern). We put a 2 pence piece in the bottom of his ‘pot’ to keep it steady and weighted and he stayed upright after that. Overall, a lovely pattern and super cute item.
