Baby Cardigan

Making baby clothing is not my speciality. I have tried baby hats and cardigans, they all seem to work out okay but they were never anything special. I like making things that are more challenging usually. But my sister asked if I could make a cardigan for my newborn nephew, I wanted something simple but cute and I found this pattern by  Donna Wilby

I originally picked just grey wool to make this, but then changed my mind and decided on white and grey. The pattern is for a newborn baby and is made using DK wool and size 4mm crochet hook. It is an easy and simple pattern to follow and the end result is super cute. I have used this pattern a second time and made a Tiny baby version using a size 3mm hook instead.

Hi, Welcome to MyBelle Creations. I taught myself to crochet around 5 years ago and really enjoyed it. Over the years I have made many different types of items, my favourites being my ‘geeky’ items such as the Labyrinth movie characters and Dungeons and dragons items.
