My daughter and my niece absolutely love the Trolls movie. My daughter loves most films with alot of music in them, she loves to sing and dance. My sister and brother-in-law asked if I could make a Mr Dinkles soft toy for my niece, so I set about trying to find a good pattern. There wasn’t many patterns ou there at the time but I found this one by Karen’s Crochets. It is available as a free download.
The pattern is so easy to follow but it did take me a little while to make, as it is alot bigger than I expected. I used DK yarn and a 3mm hook instead of Aran yarn and 3.5mm advised in the pattern. So I expect it would have been even bigger if I had used them.
The end result is amazing, super cute and looks just like Mr Dinkles. My niece was made up and my daughter also then wanted one the same . The pattern is available here.
